Rhize & Grind: Virtual Coworking

Purpose

To provide a coworking environment for job-seekers, offering mutual accountability and support through 'body doubling.'

Format

Informal coworking with optional sharing of individual tasks. Participants can ask questions if they are stuck on something (e.g., editing a resume bullet). At the end of the call, everyone shares the progress they’ve made. There will be no moderator; participants are to self-moderate and remind others of the call expectations.

Expectations

Participants can work on their own tasks independently or share what they are working on if they choose. The environment is supportive and collaborative, with the option to seek help on specific issues. At the end of the session, a brief sharing of progress helps maintain accountability and celebrate achievements. Participants should self-moderate and remind each other of the call expectations as needed.

Suggested Agenda (1 hour)

1. Welcome and Overview of Call Expectations (Self-moderated): 5 minutes
2. Independent Work/Optional Sharing of Tasks: 45 minutes
  - Participants can share what they are working on if they choose
  - Time to ask questions or seek help on specific issues
3. Progress Sharing: 10 minutes (1-2 minutes per person)
Note: This is a suggested agenda and each call may vary slightly based on participants' needs and discussions.
