Meet Racquel Fakhouri, a dynamic 31-year-old professional based in Michigan with a decade of work experience under her belt. Outside of her corporate life, Racquel has been a fitness coach for six years, blending her passion for health with her professional journey.

Prior to her transition, Racquel was an account executive at a large entertainment and media company. She thrived in her role by connecting with clients and collaborating with her teammates, fostering a strong teamwork mentality. Leaving on her own terms, Racquel felt empowered, confident that her skills and experience would swiftly lead her to new opportunities. However, the journey took longer than expected, bringing unexpected challenges.

During her job search, Racquel discovered Rhize through Giovanna’s TikTok videos, which deeply resonated with her. She joined Rhize for the strength and positivity found in a supportive community, helping her navigate through negative thoughts. The community provided a judgment-free space to share feelings and experiences, reinforcing the idea that she wasn't alone. After an eight-month job search, Racquel secured a role as Senior Media Planner at a fully remote media agency, overseeing media strategies for national and regional accounts. 

Racquel is excited to dive back into full-time work, leveraging her expertise in a new and impactful position. Racquel's advice to job seekers is to find a supportive community, take necessary breaks for mental health, and trust that the right job will come at the right time. Congrats Racquel!
